Good Tuesday morning to all my readers, and Facebook friends.

We, that is Connie and myself, or on a mission to clean out all the yucky remains of Christmas from our bodies. Actually we have probably a lot of crap that accumulated throughout 2011.

Firstly the theory that we put into practice for a few years now;

It says in the Bible that you supposed to toil for six days and rest for one day every week. This one day is suggested being Sunday, however after contemplating how we allow the body to rest on Sunday I felt sorry for my temple. (Ancient identification of the body.)

Quite often starting with a hangover, be it a normal alcohol hangover, or the food hangover from overindulgence, either way forcing the body to work overtime to recover from over immoderation and abuse on Saturday night.

We proceed with the big greasy breakfast, some sweets, or God forbid; flushing down the hangover with a few Coca-Cola or other toxic sugar drinks. And off course as soon as the clock strikes “Beer a Clock” we pop open, and down, the first coldie.

From thereon the abuse is an avalanche; Sunday roast or after noon BBQ with all the trimmings including alcohol, and some deserts, and some other sweets, and some more alcohol – and off course a continuous flow of chips and dip.
What a resting day for the body!!!

The poor thing has to work overtime 24 hours, and possibly through onto Wednesday to recover from the abuse.

Our solution, or maybe way of making amends;

We decided to help the body get the cleaning done ‘first thing’ Monday morning, consequently our Monday diet is raw fresh juice only, namely Don Tolman’s recipe of CABALA juice. We are out of bed at 5:30, Connie chopping up carrots, apples, beetroot and a lemon and it’s my job to run them through the juicing machine.

So there you have our Monday cleansing (weekend indulgence amends) menu, possibly adding a vegetable smoothie as an afternoon / evening meal.

CABALA juice a recipe;
1 Kg Carrots.
1 Red Apple, 1 Green Apple and 1 Yellow Apple.
1 Beetroot.
1 Lemon, with rind and all.

Our long-term raw food cleansing;

From 16 January we are on a mission to do a Good Christmas cleaning on the inside of the body, a minimum 30 day process -but possibly a bit longer.

This program is cleansing, not a weight-loss. However, commencing the process I decided to reset my mental ideal weight to 80 kg rather than the last years 85 kg. Let’s see how that goes.

The program we designed is to exclude all meat, in any form, keeping sugar intake at a minimum which of cause excluded the intake of alcohol as well.
In short; no meat, no sugar and no alcohol.

In addition, starting on Thursday, we will do the Don and Tyler Tolman “Pulse Program” – “14 days to a new You”. Starting with a four day fibrous drink colon cleanse, followed by 10 days of an ancient healthy fruit mix called “Pulse”. (Daniel 1:8-14) You can purchase your “Pulse” HERE.

We have now, up until Wednesday, had a slow cleansing diet of 80% raw and 20% cooked vegetables during 10 days. It has been said, among others, by Monica Colmsjo Author of “Sweet Dreams”, that too much and too sudden cleansing and weight loss can release stored toxins in the body.

In my layman terms I understand and describe this in the following simple ways;

We are munching away all year long, or probably several years, on our Double MacBurger or Cheese Burgers flushing it down with some toxic and addictive sugar drink. With all the toxins, excessive fat, ammonia, anti foaming agents, preservatives, sugar and artificial taste chemicals it is simply too much for the body to process.

Add to that that the crap is processed over and over for convenient handling, transport and longer shelf life, and you have something totally unrecognizable for your body’s digestive systems.

“So what to do?” – Says the ‘foreman’ in your guts.

He, your digestive system, therefore proceeds to stack your Big Mac’s as spare tires around your waist, while the coke sugar would be used to clog up your liver and other organs with fat. So there you are walking around like a rottening food factory with all these food leftovers in decay.

A day of enlightening;

Suddenly a new personality awakens, or at least a fellow you haven’t been aware of for decades, and he yells to you; “You are at fat lacy bludger, you need to lose weight and you need to clean out the garbage tip of a body that you’re carrying around”.

And this new “Mr. Good Guy” proceeds to put you on a 30 day water fasting and cleansing procedure, totally shocking your “foreman in your guts” in an opposite direction.

Suddenly we have no fatty food coming at all, “Help, we are going to starve to death”, what to do now?

So they proceed to release all your old Big Mac’s from fat storage into the bloodstream, clogging up the veins, and releasing all the plaque you so carefully built up in your arteries, and let it float in lumps to the heart and the brains.

And if the subsequent strokes and heart attacks don’t kill you, then you have all the stored fast food chemicals giving your body an overdose and a total toxic shock.

The logic conclusion; “Health, detox and weight loss are dangerous, we better stick to our Big Mac’s, Coke and TV coach.

So there you have it, the reasoning behind Connie’s and my own plans and strategies; (not that I can remember when I last visited a McDonald’s factory outlet.) we do it nice, slowly and enjoyable. Eating our greens, slowly cleansing the body, and now on day 11 to 14 we do a more serious cleanout of our ‘temples’.

Some time ago Mike Cotter interviewed Reg Wells, who was having a tough time and had to borrow money to attend Sandy MacGregor’s  seminar in Perth at the time.

A short time after the seminar he sent a note to Sandy which in part said:

“My business has absolutely rocketed over the past 3 months since doing your seminar.”

Reg became a highly successful Financial Planner and since that seminar, it became a case of success upon success for Reg.

Mike’s lengthy interview with Reg was fascinating and here are a few interesting points:-

1.  Over the years he had been to a host of seminars, including Anthony Robbins, Tom Hopkins, John Keogh, Bob Proctor – all of which he found enjoyable but not life-changing.

2.  In his words: “I went to a ‘promo’ of Sandy’s CALM Life Skills Seminar (available on CDs, DVDs plus a Workbook) and I liked his ‘laid back style’ without the “Rah Rah”. I thought, why not go, I’m broke, what have I got to lose. As I look back on it now I’d hate to think where I’d be today, had I not gone.

3.  Sandy’s seminar pulled it all together for me, and because he limits the number of seminar participants, you feel involved and you soon learn you’re dealing with a genuine guy with a real life-improving and life-changing message. For me it was the weekend that turned my life around.”

Mike asked Reg

Of all the things he got out of Sandy’s seminar, what 3 things had the biggest impact on his phenomenal rise from the ashes?

First would be the system I learned for tapping into my own creativity.

Second would be the simple exercises for getting my left and right brain constantly communicating with each other. Whole brain learning I think it’s called.

Third is Sandy’s fantastic method that enables you to achieve your goals up to 8 times faster. And I’m living proof that this works.”

Reg is also a marathon runner, and he used the same methods to significantly improve his times. So whatever your sporting activity is, you can also look forward to improved performance.

Reg attributes his success to the daily practice of the techniques he learnt from attending Sandy MacGregor’s Seminar.

Two specific things (from the seminar) he does at the start of each day

The first one is a simple exercise for around 60-120 seconds that switches on his left and right brain, which he says “makes me feel more confident, more creative and gives me an energy lift.”

Whilst what Reg says is fact, the medical/scientific reason for doing this is that for memory to be enhanced, scientists have proven that Left/Right brain communication take place.

The left side of the brain is commonly referred to as the ‘analytical’ and the right side the ‘creative’. (Much of what we know about these two sides stems from the work of 1981 Nobel Prize winner, Dr Roger Sperry, the great neuropsychologist and neuro-biologist in USA.)

One important thing to know is that the ‘creative’ side works 40 to 400 times faster than the ‘analytical’ side, and in each of us, one side is usually dominant.

Hence the excitement builds when you realise that accelerated learning comes … when you can get both sides working together as a team.

How? It’s easy!

You just do certain exercises as prescribed by a certified Kinesiologist. (Kinesiology means the study of motion, in particular the study of how muscles act and co-ordinate the body.)

One such exercise designed to integrate the brain is called the ‘lazy-eight.’ This activity trains your brain to switch between left and right sides easily.

It’s a simple and fantastic way to start each day, and it’s also great to use if you’re feeling tired or if you want a spark of Creativity before approaching any task, such as designing, writing, inventing something or problem solving.

 Lazy-Eight

Stand up. Point your finger toward the wall and fix your eyes on it. Follow your finger with your eyes, without moving your head.

First draw a circle to the right, then draw one to the left. Then one to the right and one to the left again. See how your finger crosses over in the ‘middle’, and you are drawing a figure of the figure eight lying on its side. Hence the name, ‘lazy-eight.’

 

 

Always make sure you go ‘up’ across the middle of the eight. That way your energy is taken up and increased.Now start making the circle bigger and bigger. Finally, join both hands together and really swing into it. Move your whole body, swaying and rocking and bending your knees and hips.So there you have it. A 30 to 60 second exercise that’s guaranteed to Switch-On your whole brain, give you an energy lift, and spark your creativity.

All you have to do is…. do it.

Another important thing that Reg does is the 8 Step Goal System for achieving goals faster – this takes about 30 seconds for each goal.

Some more Proof

Apart from Reg’s story there’s nothing like a couple of others to back it up. Here is one for keen golfers.

There was a lady who attended Sandy’s CALM Life Skills Seminar (available on CDs, DVDs plus a Workbook), and on her return home was greeted by her father, who was on his way to play 18 holes of golf.  This lady’s father was a total sceptic about any worthwhile benefit she would receive from the seminar, but curiously inquired ”Did you learn anything that might help me on the golf course?”

She thought for a moment and then told her father about switching on the brain and the ‘lazy-eight’ exercise. Somewhat scoffingly he said “Nar, that’s not for me,” and went off to play golf.

After 12 holes his scorecard was looking terrible, and he was about to give up in disgust, when he remembered what his daughter had told him. Still believing the exercise would have no benefit, he decided to do it anyway. And this he did before each of the remaining six holes.

The result …. he birdied all six holes…!!!

And Even More Proof

And just to increase the proof even further, here’s a snippet from an interview Mike did with a wonderful lady, a people trainer:

I was training adults who had been on the dole for four years and all were pretty rough around the edges.

On one occasion I had 40 guys, all retrenched wharfies, who didn’t have the slightest interest in what I was teaching and they told me so, every single day for six months.

Then one day I decided – Right, I’m going to get them up doing the Lazy-Eight. Naturally they all grumbled and complained that they weren’t there to do exercise, but I just insisted.

WOW, you wouldn’t believe the change that came over these 40 guys, it really got them switched on, and the mood change was just sensational.

And after a while I asked them to look around the room at each other, because 40 grim faces had turned into 40 smiling faces. It was amazing!

So My Friends, I hope those stories are enough to inspire you to do the Lazy-Eight two or three times a day, especially at times of irritation, frustration or a mental block. Do it, and you’ll be amazed at the results.

The Central Secret of Self Development is…

How to increase your own power and energy. To do this requires a different focus of your attention. You learn to occasionally take it from the outside world, to an examination and exploration of your inner world. The rewards are incredible and so useful, that it is shocking this information is not taught to us all from the first day we arrive at school. Let us learn the first step, for once and for all.

 

The First Step
What you are actually, if we use a metaphor, is a very highly complex and brilliantly designed biological computer. You are a collection of thousands and thousands of biological computer programs all operating in parallel with each other. Many of these programs are in your unconscious and are to do with physical survival.

 

But there are thousands of others that have been recorded into you through your conditioning. These are called meta-programs. These control your behaviour and your actions. Your behaviour and your actions are the primary tools you use to create your life experiences. There are others which control how much energy you have available.

 

To access more of the higher and more powerful energies, you have to go to a deeper part of your body. There is a huge generator of energy around the pelvis area, which is never touched in a normal state of consciousness. This alone will give you greater power in your life.

 

Eventually you will also be able to access many of the higher energies, which will give you a bliss and a euphoria, as well as all sorts of intuitive powers, which fulfil you in a way that nothing else can.

Practical Steps to Looking Within

The only way to open to these, is to deliberately look within. Sit up straight, being comfortable, not strained in your posture. Close your eyes and steady your breathing, slowly in and out. Just watch internally. Be aware of your whole body. Don’t look for anything, just be present.

 

You can adjust your position if you feel uncomfortable. Remain conscious. Do this for twenty minutes, twice a day. You will first of all experience your nervous system unwinding and releasing the stresses it has collected. But after a few sessions, you will begin to experience a deeper more restful state emerging.

 

Stay with this for longer periods. If you do this regularly you will notice a subtle change in your energy. And, if you keep doing it, gradually increasing your sitting time to an hour, you will be very surprised at how much better you feel and how many more beneficial coincidences occur in your life. Everything becomes more enjoyable and interesting, and your own abilities, in many areas of your life, increase dramatically.

 

If you want to gain more, and have extraordinary experiences, then it is necessary to make self development your main interest in life. Life is a consciousness game. Self development is increasing your own consciousness. Are you ready to make the change?

What can you do to really make the fastest and most powerful changes in your life?

First, you have to know what you are dealing with. Which is, of course, your own body and mind. Never believe that it is only the realities of the outside world which block you from success. They may appear to be the only obstacles which stop you. But this is rarely the case.

You may think: if only so and so was more thoughtful, then my relationship with them would be better. Or, it is so difficult to make money, the rich have it all sewn up. Or, I could be so fit and healthy if only I could find the time. Or, with regard to any subject, I just cannot work it out. And so on. Now, in some sense these thoughts may be true. But the reality is that only you can change these circumstances by facing yourself and how you play the instrument of your body and mind. We all need to wake up from the various trances we have been conditioned to live in. The first is blaming the outside world. In Being in Heaven, the main character, Jason Masterman was very guilty of that!

The fast track way to change and improve your life, is to have the deliberate intention to actually do it. I know so many people who give lip service to changing themselves. They have read all the books, tried a few techniques for a short period, and say I know I should do this but it is so hard. Or, worse, these techniques just do not work!

Let me give you the secret

Success is all in the details and the small things. Your life is only a series of small actions. It is never one big action for a big result. If you want to create a great life, it is no different from becoming a concert pianist or gold medal swimmer. You practice the scales, or the laps, every day. And each time you do it, you get better. Your concentration builds, as does your will power. Changing your life is like building a particular muscle. You are not going to become Mr or Miss Universe overnight, but you can build very large muscles by daily practice over time.

It is exactly the same with anything you may want. You have the intention, and every day you do something small to express that intention. If it is about money, you may study the subject by reading or asking others how they did it. If about your relationship, you find ways to express kindness and thoughtfulness. These actions do not have to be gigantic expressions of change, but merely the building of new habits, like doing an extra lap if you are a swimmer, or an extra set of scales if a pianist. Then, after some time, you will discover you have changed your self and your circumstances, and it has not been that hard.

Small Steps is Key

People usually fail, because they set goals which are completely out of their reach. Start small and build what you want, step by step. Don’t try to change yourself radically, but just by a little bit at a time. You will be very surprised how much progress you can make in a short period.
